Iconostasis

The ‘iconostasis’ that leads to the altar has a transparency to it, for we see icons as ‘windows to heaven’, showing that in Christ we ‘have access by faith into this Grace in which we stand’ (Romans 5).

    11:45 am - 12:45 pm

    This pivotal service in the worship of our church allows us to enter into Great Lent in a spirit of love and forgiveness for one another. All people including visitors are welcome to participate.

Wednesday, February 21st
  • Presanctified Divine Liturgy
    6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

    A deep participation in the Mystery of the sufferings of Christ for our salvation, renewing bour strength during the course of the Lenten fast (Lenten supper is provided following this service).

Thursday, February 22nd

Friday, February 23rd
  • Akathist to the Theotokos 1st and 2nd Stasis
    6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

    In this ancient and beautiful hymn to the Mother of our Lord, the message of the Gospel as the infinite hope of God with us and God within us is manifested in poetic beauty in the person of the Theotokos.
