Welcome

Welcome to Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Christian Church. We are a community of Faith striving to grow in a knowledge of Jesus Christ, who was crucified for us and raised from the dead for our salvation, and "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Col. 2:3). We are striving as Christ's Body to love one another and our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, ever more deeply, by the grace and mercy of God. We desire to bring this message of salvation into our community and all the world under the guidance of the community of the Orthodox Church. We welcome all visitors, Orthodox and non-Orthodox alike, who desire to know the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord as expressed in the Orthodox Christian community of Faith. Wednesday - 5/16/12
7:00pm - Adult Bible Study and Compline
We are currently studying Romans together, followed by a short service of nighttime prayers known as Compline

Saturday 5/19/12
6:00pm - Great Vespers
The Church's evening prayer service begins Sunday with hymns and deep reflection in the Psalms of the Church

Sunday 5/20/12
8:30am - Orthros
The Church's morning prayer service contains the deepest theological reflection of any of the Church's services as an entrance into the Divine Liturgy that follows
9:30am - Divine Liturgy
The Liturgy in which we gather to worship and experience the Kingdom of God is the center of all Christian worship where we "Proclaim the Lord's Death until He comes".
11:00am - Coffee Hour
